Year 4 Residential at Fox Howl

Year 4 recently enjoyed an exciting and memorable milestone—their very first residential trip to Fox Howl. From the moment they arrived, the children embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, curiosity and big smiles.
The week was packed with a wide range of outdoor and team-building activities. Pupils explored the natural environment through pond dipping and forest walks, while stream paddling added an extra sense of adventure. They also developed their navigation skills during orienteering and showed great creativity and teamwork when den building and constructing waterproof shelters.
In addition to the outdoor experiences, the children spent time relaxing together with board games and making the most of the adventure playground, strengthening friendships and building confidence along the way.
The residential has been a fantastic experience for all, filled with fun, discovery and personal achievement. We are incredibly proud of how Year 4 represented the school and supported one another throughout the week. It is a trip that will no doubt be remembered for a long time to come!
