Year 6 Embrace Creative Movement in PE

This half term, Year 6 have been diving into an exciting new PE topic focused on creative movement and physical expression. The children have been exploring a variety of shapes and circular movements, experimenting with different parts of their bodies and working at varying levels to develop control and coordination.
As their confidence has grown, they have begun combining these skills into imaginative movement sequences. Working in pairs, the pupils have collaborated to design routines that showcase not only physical ability but also creativity and artistry. These sessions have encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and self-expression, while promoting fitness and flexibility in a fun and engaging way.
It has been fantastic to see the enthusiasm and effort Year 6 have put into this topic.
