As part of Road Safety Awareness Week, some of our Year 5 pupils braved the chilly weather to take part in Bikeability cycling proficiency lessons. These sessions provided an excellent opportunity for the children to develop essential skills for staying safe on the roads, including signalling, checking for traffic, and maintaining control while cycling.

Despite the cold, the pupils showed fantastic resilience and enthusiasm throughout the day. They not only learned practical techniques but also gained confidence in their ability to cycle safely and responsibly. These lessons are an important step in promoting independence and road safety awareness, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts.
