Celebrating World Mental Health Day in the Hive

To mark World Mental Health Day, the children in the Hive took part in a joyful and energetic afternoon focused on the importance of movement, connection, and fun in supporting positive mental health.
The children explored how staying active and enjoying friendships can help us feel good, both physically and emotionally. They had a brilliant time navigating obstacle courses with their friends—working together, cheering each other on, and sharing plenty of smiles along the way.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, encouragement, and teamwork, as each child embraced the challenges with enthusiasm. Whether climbing, crawling, or balancing, every activity was an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen bonds, and celebrate the joy of being active.
This special afternoon served as a wonderful reminder that looking after our wellbeing doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, all it takes is a bit of movement, a few good friends, and a lot of fun.
