Year 6 have returned to their guitar lessons this term with great enthusiasm, as part of the school’s music curriculum. Building on the skills they developed last year, pupils have been revisiting key techniques and refreshing their understanding of chords, rhythm, and strumming patterns. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they reconnect with their instruments and begin to play together once again.

This term also marks an exciting step forward, as the children have started learning new and more challenging pieces that build on their prior knowledge. These lessons not only support musical development but also encourage perseverance, focus, and creativity. The classroom has been filled with the sound of progress and pride — a fantastic start to the musical journey ahead for Year 6!
